PAIR of 18th Century Hand-Colored Engravings from 'Pedigrees of the English Peers'

A pair of hand-colored engravings from the 18th century publication Baronagium Genealogicum; or the Pedigrees of the English Peers compiled by Sir William Segar and Joseph Edmondson.

These prints each depict the coat of arms of notable English figures of the time - the Right Honorable Thomas Archer and the Right Honorable William Ponsonby. Each coat of arms has the full titles of its owner printed below the imagery. They are unsigned and have copies of the the title page to the original publication affixed to the versos.

frame: wood frames with gold tone corner studs, ready to hang
condition: some discoloration to papers; light edge wear to frames consistent with age
